European Day of Languages in Ruda Śląska

We organize various acitvities to celebretae european Day of Languages. This year English language teachers organized a competition: students were supposed to create as many words out of the phrase EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES as possible! After lessons we had a karaoke party and sang songs in different languages. We also listened to vokis prepared by Czech students! Students and teachers enjoyed the celebrations:-)

Czech children

our new padlet.

We wrote about favourite things. There are some mistakes but in general it is good. They did it themselves.

Our plan of the project

Our plan:
1. September- opening the project, registering children into the twinspace
2. October- using the twinspace, personal profile, all about my school- will be specified later. The easiest way how to communicate is using padlet.
3. November- my town / again we can decide alter how to do it /
4. December- Christmas, holidays and festivals, handmade Christmas wishes sent to the other school by ordinary mail
5. January- free time activities, hobbies and sports
6. February- quiz time- creating some quizes about what we know from the project, crosswords woth English description, boardgames in English
7. March- My hero, my favourite family member
8. April- Easter, spring activities, games which our grandparents used to play outside - video- let´s try to play them
9.May- food, recipes, evaluation of the project

Czech children are learning hard

Our students are the youngest at school and they are doing a big progress. They have learnt how to use the twinspace, they have created their personal profiles, they have learnt how to use the padlet and how to insert pictures. Good for the first two hours in front of the computers.
